Chapter 11

"Eww! This is sticky—wait! I have gloves!" Charlie exclaimed after attempting to mold the ground chicken with her hand.

Charlie was in the kitchen of the new apartment at seven. Her roommate was not home yet.

She was watching You*Tube, learning how to make cheesy chicken croquettes. Earlier, she had followed instructions, mixing spices and condiments into the meat. Now, she was forming balls and putting a big slice of cheese inside.
