Chapter 48: The Itch

The sun rose quickly, and its blazing rays soon pierced through the leaves, shining down on me. I stood up and wiped the sweat from my forehead. The bamboo basket by my feet was almost full, so it was time to head home.

When I finally returned home, I saw a few villagers standing at my doorstep. They noticed me just as I noticed them.
