Chapter 149: Gravely Injured

The woman dodged the stone with ease. Just as I was getting up from the ground, her dagger aimed at my chest. 

She was way too fast. There was no way I could dodge. Just as the dagger was about to stab me in the chest, I threw my right hand up to block it. 

The dagger went straight through my hand, and blood instantly poured out. I pushed back with all my strength, trying to hold her off.
