Chapter 60: Fury

I was nodding off as I walked toward the village on the long-neglected road covered with scattered stones. As I got to the village entrance, I noticed a young guy in plain clothes searching for something. As soon as he spotted me, he jogged over.

"Caden, you're finally back! I've been looking for you."

"You're looking for me? Why?"

His face seemed somewhat familiar, though we had never spoken or interacted before.

"Don't ask questions. Just come with me to the village...
