"No way," Mia snapped, grabbing my arm with an angry expression. Caden, can you please stop causing trouble?

Puzzled, I replied, "Mia, you were nearly in trouble. I'm standing up for you, and you call it causing trouble?"

Mia huffed, turning away with a scoff.

"Mia, listen to me." I held her hand solemnly. "I won't let anyone bully you!"

"Give it a break," Mia retorted, yanking her hand back. "Have you ever considered how I feel?"
